Governing in the age of complexity: building resilience to COVID-19 and future pandemics

Dr Didier Wernli led the development of a policy brief on resilience thinking and the COVID-19 pandemic.

In responding to a mandate by the Geneva Science Policy Interface, a team of 29 co-authors from both the natural and social sciences was assembled.

The policy brief was developed based on a literature review from a multisystemic perspective, and several consultations were carried out with professionals from international Geneva to define the scope of the project.
