The module of the Global Studies Institute PhD School took place from 1st – 4th of July 2019. The main objective of this module was to give researchers an interdisciplinary overview of how globalization affects and transform the state and conduct of world affairs on the one side, the academic disciplines – both as regard their object of study and their methodologies – on the other.
The module led participants to develop a more comprehensive understanding of what this transformation to new modes of governance including intersectoral and multi-level governance) implies, academically and practically.
The module brought together researchers (doctoral candidates and more advanced ones) that are confronting interdisciplinarity and its challenges and seek to improve their knowledge of the Global Governance’s implications.
