PhD School Interdisciplinary research: approaches and methods

Third module of the interdisciplinary PhD school at the Global Studies Institute from 10 to 13 February 2020 in Geneva.
With the support of swissuniversities and in collaboration with the Interfaculty Centre for Children’s Rights Studies, the Global Studies Institute at the University of Geneva is organizing a doctoral school to foster capacity-building in interdisciplinary research.
The third module of this interdisciplinary PhD school will focus on concrete approaches and methodologies to perform interdisciplinary research. The module will combine lectures, presentations of research projects, and workshops.
The target audience is researchers (doctoral candidates and more advanced) who aim to strengthen their methodological approach in a specific project in the broad area of global studies. Some support is provided for accommodation/travel for doctoral researchers pursuing their PhD in higher education institutions in Switzerland.
